When a corporation with more than 10,000 employees undergoes a complete transformation, it is more than a mammoth task. Signal Iduna initiated just such a transformation under the title "Working Environment of the Future".

The office concept has a decisive effect in supporting the organizational restructuring. Particularly challenging in the development of such an overarching concept were certainly the different framework conditions: The old headquarters from the 70s in Dortmund with the large-scale structures typical of the time on the one hand and the modern new building in Hamburg on the other, which provides significantly smaller structured areas spread over 16 floors.

It was also important to find the right degree of change for the organization in order not to jeopardize productivity. The concept, developed in-house, is therefore convincing in terms of continuity and sustainability.
In this project, Sieber GmbH was primarily responsible for supporting the tendering and procurement of all the furniture for approx. 5,000 workstations. Through very extensive sampling and selection processes, we helped to optimally select the required furniture and procure it as cost-effectively as possible.

The implementation of such a furnishing project with many different suppliers, different delivery and assembly times, different material flows and differing requirements for the target area was a major challenge. Signal Iduna also commissioned Sieber GmbH for this. As part of a professional move-in management, we planned, coordinated and organized the move-in processes over a period of one year.
