Following the merger of several Group companies in Cologne, the property insurance companies of Talanx AG, HDI-Gerling Industrieversicherung and HDI-Gerling Firmen- und Privatversicherungen, as well as the central service company with approximately 1800 employees, were also consolidated into a new Group headquarters in Hanover.
After the old headquarters became too small, the insurance group built a modern administrative building in the immediate vicinity for around 2000 employees with approximately 45,000 m² of above-ground usable space.

Designed with maximum transparency, the building has become a striking example of modern office architecture, with the extraordinary atrium as the heart of the building being particularly impressive. Although a small-scale cell structure was to be implemented, the rooms and corridors are bright and flooded with light everywhere thanks to the high proportion of glass.
